New Electric Powertrain Development Facility

Ilmor is pleased to announce the completion of a new EV powertrain development facility at our site in Brixworth.  This rig has been designed to allow Ilmor to conduct performance, efficiency and attribute development programmes for motorsport and on-highway customers, with rapid data acquisition and high levels of precision.

The new facility allows the development of EDU and e-axel systems and includes a pair of wheel speed AC dynamometers, fluid conditioning, power analysis and battery simulation.  It allows Ilmor to build on its race-winning expertise in traditional combustion engines, electronics, and manufacturing.
